Dr. Andrea N. Price, M.D. is a gifted, gentle and caring physician dedicated to women’s health and total wellness. She recognizes the unique medical issues and obstetric and gynecologic needs surrounding diverse groups of women.

A lecturer, author and women’s advocate, Dr. Price’s syndicated column, “Love Thy Self,” has been published on over 15 major websites and in health magazines. She has been a regular guest on National Public Radio’s “The Takeaway,” has been featured on TLC’s “A Baby Story” and on NJN’s “Another View.” In addition, she contributed the foreword to the book “The Mocha Manual to a Fabulous Pregnancy” by Kimberley Seals-Allers, and appeared in the subsequent video version of the book. You may have also seen her quoted at various times in newspapers and magazines such as The New York Times, Essence and Prevention.

Dr. Price, an Ohio native, is a graduate of Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania in 1995. She brings with her a breadth of experience, having practiced medicine in a wide variety of settings, from the rural heartland to the inner city, before settling in Monmouth County, New Jersey with her husband and two small children. Besides spending time at the beach with her family, Dr. Price particularly enjoys faith-based mission work. She has participated in several medical mission trips to impoverished areas in rural Jamaica, West Indies, and most recently in Kibweszi, Kenya, West Africa, in 2011, where she provided medical care in conjunction with the Fountain Baptist Church in Summit, NJ.

Dr. Price is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and was elected a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In July 2012, she realized her lifelong dream of creating a medical practice devoted to a holistic approach towards women’s medicine and opened Women’s Center for Integrative Health at the Jersey shore.

Her most frequent prescription to all women is to “Love Thyself”.

When i was first seriously thinking about seeing an ob/gyn for the first time, i had an older friend who tried to get me to be open w/seeing the male ob/gyn she was seeing, although this one was an older one (not sure about the hotness rating). i wasn't having it. i am only comfortable w/ a female ob/gyn. i am happy going to your practice and have no intentions of going elsewhere!
